The interview is a process which each person will
examine. When applying for a new job, the interview is an important thing to
know more about the applying person not only on paper, but also to know his
feelings, confidence and the willingness to give to this job.
Mohammed was applying to be financial manager in Dubai
Department of Finance. He was dressed formally in his deshdash and ghutrah.
When first Mohammed started to speak about himself he seemed to be a confident
person; his body language was showing that he was nervous but he could control
it from inside. He has several advantages like planning, organizing and problem
solving. He has worked in UAE central bank as a financial manager for 7 years.
The interviewers started to ask the questions, and he
answered then clearly. He is a confidant and risk taking person and sees this as
his strengths. He thinks we should hire him because he has several years
experience and he can be a trainer. He chooses our company because of our
reputation and to get more experience. Mohammed is creative in modeling finance
schedules. Mohammed started to ask the interviewers some questions. His salary
was the first thing,; there will be a point of entry then it will grow. He can
refer to the employers in the orientation.
The easiest question was if he could work under
pressure because every job has pressure nowadays, and the most difficult was what
salary you are expecting because he can’t know what the company is willing to
pay. I think if he was in a real interview he would be accepted
